Description

New construction of a rescue station with vehicle hall on the ground floor for 5 emergency vehicles with washing area and two subsequent floors for the office, changing and social rooms in Ehingen. The ground floor, including the ceiling above, is constructed in a reinforced concrete structure. The facade is exposed concrete here. The following two floors (1st and 2nd floor) are a pure wooden construction, except for the stairwell, which is completely planned in prefabricated parts, including the stairways and platforms. The load-bearing wooden structure consists of supports and beams. The stiffening is done via the plywood ceilings, the elevator core and in a field over cross-laminated wood walls. The ceilings span over 3 fields with support on the undercarriages in the exterior walls and the corridor walls. The fields between the outriggers are folded out with insulated, non-load-bearing wooden frame elements. The facade is a closed ventilated wooden formwork.
