Description

Avid Inews is used as a drafting system throughout the MDR. At present, reflections have started on how a drafting system should be strong in the future in order to meet the existing and future requirements for an editorial system platform. The forthcoming outcome of the MDR strategy projects will provide the reflection with new guidelines and suggestions.
Further development can be based on Inews or another product. In both cases, it is already certain that such a deeply integrated system such as Inews in its present form will have to continue to operate for a longer period until a new solution for an editorial system is put in place.
The existing software maintenance contract expires on 31 December 2014 and is therefore to be renewed.
