Description

As part of the maintenance policy of its seaports, the Department of the English Channel carried out, in 2022, a diagnosis on the threshold wall and the two dykes (main and secondary) of the marina basin of the port of Granville. This revealed many disorders on these structures: breakage or cracking of concrete and corrosion of steels. The Department of La Manche therefore wishes to carry out the repair work on the threshold wall and the main dyke. The services mainly include general cleaning of structures, patching or injection of cracks, treatment of fractures and implementation of a watertight coating. The duration of the works is estimated at 9 months. The geometric singularity of the main dam consisting of 52 JARLAN caissons 14 meters high and stretching 360 meters long, probably requires the installation of specific tools to meet the constraints of this site.
