The Hanseatic City of Lübeck intends to expand the Koggenweg primary school from a three-level to a five-level primary school in line with the increasing demand. The two-storey school building was built in 1974 as a so-called "Kasseler model" in reinforced concrete prefabricated construction. The space requirement of the three-storey school is already significantly larger than can be mapped in the main building. For this reason, a temporary container building with three further classrooms and toilets was installed in the parking lot.
