Request for information: HUS 394-2025 Orthopaedic knee-spacers
By means of that request for information, the HUS Group (‘HUS’) seeks to identify undertakings active on the market whose product ranges include an orthopaedic knee-spacer. The aim of this pre-notification is to identify suppliers active in the sector and to obtain information on the solutions available on the market. The product is suitable for the temporary replacement of an infected knee joint in orthopaedic surgery in specialised medical care - The product is a so-called empty mold, in which an antibiotic cement is selected for each patient (not a fixed model) - The product has a patient-safe material - The product is sterile and individually packaged INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLY TO THE INFORMATION REQUEST If you have a CE marked knee spacer as described above in your product range, we kindly ask you to send a free-form e-mail to the contracting entity informing about your products and attaching contact information. In connection with your reply, you can also attach brochures about products/services, if available. Replies must be sent by 15 October 2025 at 3 p.m. (GMT+2) to the following e-mail address: competitive tendering.team@hus.fi. The email header or message field should include: "Request for information: HUS 394-2025 orthopaedic knee-spacers. MARKET DISTRIBUTION HUS may, at its discretion, propose further market dialogue discussions with those who responded to this notice. INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROCEDURE This notice is not a call for tenders. Please note that the procurement is in the early stages of planning, and the plans as well as the subject of the procurement and its schedule may still change. This notice describes the information available to the contracting entity at the time when the notice is drawn up. The subject matter and schedule of the procurement may change substantially. The request for information does not oblige the contracting entity to carry out the actual procurement, but the launch of a possible procurement procedure is decided separately. Neither Party shall be bound by the request for information or the replies thereto. Responding to a request for information does not affect the position of the tenderer in a future call for tenders. The costs of responding to a request for information remain the responsibility of the respondent, and HUS does not pay any compensation for responding to a request for information or participating in a procurement procedure. Responses received will be treated confidentially.
