The health insurance funds involved pursue the objective of concluding discount agreements with all appropriate pharmaceutical companies pursuant to Paragraphs 130a(8) and 130c(1) of the SGB V for the active ingredient tofacitinib.
The contract is concluded as part of the health insurance funds’ open-house procedure:
Individual negotiations on the content of the contract are not conducted and uniform conditions apply. The health insurance funds do not grant exclusivity to individual contracting parties. The maximum duration of the contract is 24 months starting from 101.2019. The contract will end no later than 31.12.2020, irrespective of the date of conclusion of the contract.
