Description

The subject of the performance is compliance with the remediation limits laid down in the Decision on the imposition of remedial measures to eliminate the old environmental burden in DS PHM Nový Bohumín – I. Stage ČIŽP OI Ostrava ref. 9/OV/4867/00/Veng of 21. 7. 2000. The aim of the work is to eliminate the risk of migration of the free phase and dissolved RL in groundwater from the area north of the land ORLEN UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o. and to increase the effectiveness of the remediation intervention in the area of the former DS PHM. The implementation of a hydraulically incomplete sheet pile underground sealing wall (hereinafter referred to as ‘PTS’), which will be linked to the existing sheet pile wall along the Refinery Forest (northern edge of the complex) and the existing foil PTS along the boundary of the shopping centre complex (eastern boundary of the complex), will make it possible to separate the groundwater pollution outbreak located north of the land of the acquirer (on the land of a foreign entity) from the already remediated land on the premises of ORLEN UNIPETROL RPA, s.r.o. and to achieve compliance with the remediation limits of the CEI Ostrava Decision.
