As part of the ESTW access line Dortmund II - planning part West, the equipment of the Üst Do-Rahm operating station and the adjacent sections of the line will be implemented with new signalling technology. The existing, availability-critical signalling technology of the existing Stw ‘Abzw Rahm’ at Üst Do-Rahm is replaced. The existing interlocking Rahm km 17.760 (2210) is abandoned, no ESTW-A building is planned for route 2210. The existing interlocking Dzf in Dortmund Hbf (ESTW-Z) will be extended by the Üst Do-Rahm operating station, the interlocking units will be integrated directly into the existing Stw Dzf.
