Norway-Trondheim: Core drilling
The Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) requests additional knowledge on cracks and hydrologic flows in Norwegian crystalline rock types, with a particular focus on increasing the knowledge of the connection between tectonics and cracks in different rock types along the Norwegian beaches in the western and central parts of Norway. In order to achieve this NGU is planning to carry out core drilling for minimum four (4) 100 metre deep drilling holes with a diameter of minimum 96 mm. The core drilling shall be executed in Smøla and Bømlo.
