Description

The Centre for Pharmaceutical and Functional Genomic Research is planned as a research platform and is centrally located at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research Campus in Braunschweig. The combination of research activities and the concentration of cutting-edge technologies in the Centre for Pharmaceutical and Functional Genomic Research will serve as a basis for interdisciplinary collaborations needed to identify and further develop active substance candidates for translation into the clinical pipeline. Much-needed laboratory surfaces will be created to replace abandoned buildings in the long term and to bring together the working groups involved in active substance research in synergistic ways at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research Campus.
The intention is to create a three-storey, base-closed new building with approximately 5 600 m² HNF. In addition to approx. 1 400 m² of office space, 3 200 m² of laboratory space is to be created in S1/S2 standard and a total of approx. 1 000 m² of storage and common spaces.
The estimated total investment, including initial set-up, is EUR 32 million net.
Construction is planned to start around October 2014 and construction is planned to be completed by April 2017 (approximately 30 months of construction time).
The contracting authority shall select those service providers who have participated in the VOF procedure which, by providing information on the required supporting documents and formalities, shall comply with the minimum economic and technical requirements of the first. Stage – competition/selection phase.
A maximum of 5 offices/associations that best meet the minimum requirements will take part in the 2nd Stage – award phase – allowed.
