Description

Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH intends to award a heritable building right to build and operate a category 3 or 4-star hotel (Deutsche Hotel Classification of Criteria Catalogue 2015-2020 or equivalent) and complementary ancillary uses on the Cologne/Bonn airport site to a technically and financially efficient investor and hotel operator. Additional awards for the 3 or 4-star category, such as superior, are also allowed and 3 and 4-star segments can be combined in a hotel (“2 brand strategy”). The hotel will have approximately 200 rooms (min. 180 rooms, max. 250 rooms). With regard to secondary uses, a customised bar and restaurant area will be required.
