Description

Since the Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) was detected in the Hardanger wild reindeer area in September 2020, a number of measures have been worked to prevent the spreading of infection both inside and out of this area. One of these measures is to avoid gathering places for deer game in the wild reindeer area. Salinity for livestock serves as gathering places for wild deer that seek salt. Such a measure is therefore to fence into salt places.
