Germany-Munich: Sanitary fixture installation work
Construction task:
Rehabilitation of indoor spaces (renovation, adaptation, fire protection and energy saving measures) and space-building upgrades.
The State Building Office Munich 2 intends to rehabilitate the interiors of the building of the Technical University of Munich, ‘Thierschbau’, Ecke Gabelsbergerstraße/Luisenstraße in Munich.
The building on the Gabelsbergerstraße/Ecke Luisenstraße was constructed in 1912 under the architectural direction of Friedrich von Thiersch and is listed as a single monument in the list of monuments. It consists of the base floor, the ground floor 3 upper floors and the roof floor and covers approximately 8 800 m² of main usable floor space.
Under current building law, the entire building is regarded as a meeting site.
In the course of various changes, construction has undergone several changes inside the building. In addition to the façade rehabilitation and restoration of the windows, the rehabilitation of the sanitary installations and the emergency fire protection measures defined as part of a fire protection concept have been carried out at present.
The ongoing refurbishment of indoor spaces concerns, in particular, comprehensive construction measures to implement the fire protection concept and the renewal of the completely outdated technical equipment.
The works contract will be carried out in three phases. In parallel to the work in the 3 rd Work must be carried out in a future 4th phase, which will be carried out earlier than implementation.
Heating installations. The building works in this area are mainly the closing of wall and ceiling penetrations and related further works.
The activities in the construction phases will be carried out according to the timetable set, depending on the study semesters and the semester holidays (See: Other special contractual conditions)
