Description

Planning competition according to RPW 2013 for architects and landscape architects. The competition is a one-stage, restricted implementation competition with an upstream application process for the selection of a total of 20 participants. The promoter selects 5 participants in advance. The municipality of Renquishausen is planning the construction of a 4-group kindergarten in the town centre, adjacent to the community centre. In the future, former school rooms will no longer be needed within the community centre and will be available for expansion of the fire brigade and for use by the new kindergarten. In addition, a warehouse for games and sports equipment for the multi-purpose hall is to be integrated. The combination of the existing structure and extension is intended to offer users a modern kindergarten and synergies with the existing uses. The net area of the kindergarten is about 750m2, of which about 20-25% can be accommodated in the former school rooms in the community center. On the basis of the preliminary designs, the best urban planning, architectural-design and functional and economical solution for the planned and to be realized building construction and conversion measure is to be found with the procedure of the realisation competition. The competition's task is the construction of a new building (cultivation) for the Renquishausen kindergarten, including the former school premises of the community centre. The aim is to create a 4-group kindergarten according to current pedagogical standards on the basis of the agreed spatial programme. The competition task is supplemented by the creation of attractive outdoor play areas and outdoor facilities for the kindergarten, taking into account the optimal and safe accessibility of the kindergarten and the community center for its diverse users (children, parents, athletes, fire brigade, clubs, etc.).
