Description

As a state enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), SBH Schulbau Hamburg has the task of planning, building, maintaining and managing the school properties in accordance with economic principles, taking into account school interests, and of renting out the more than 400 schools to the Authority for School and Vocational Education and Training (BSB). --------------- With the replacement located at Grellkamp, a predominant restructuring of the site takes place. In the two-storey building, administrative areas, a vital kitchen and canteen area, as well as classes and specialist rooms find their new place. The spacious area of the canteen and communal area with a stage is a ground-floor meeting place. The heat is generated by district heating, PV areas are built on the roof surfaces. The new building receives funding for the climate-friendly new building (KfN) and is certified as a DGNB Gold within this framework. The chosen structure as a mixture between reinforced concrete construction and timber construction favors the construction time and allows later conversions as well as the use of sustainable building materials.
