Description

The contract covers: - Selective door-to-door collection of household and similar waste sorted at source as organic and residual fraction every two weeks (unusual weeks) throughout the municipal territory. - The weekly emptying of 9 containers of 770 litres for the residual fraction and 4 containers of 140 litres for the organic matter of the home ‘Les Jardins d’Elisabeth’, rue du Bac, 2 in Waimes. - An option is provided to allow the contracting authority to temporarily increase the frequency of collection, by activating an additional passage in even weeks for a period of three months in summer. This option may be activated by 30 April of the year concerned at the latest by written notification from the contracting authority. The period covered shall be June, July and August, unless otherwise specified in the notification. In this case, the holder must ensure weekly collection (every week) of the residual household waste during the specified period. The contractor’s remuneration for this additional service will be the subject of a separate unit price, set out in the unit price schedule (BPU). - And transport to the place of treatment (and unloading included), that is to say to the facilities of the intercommunal IDELUX Environment in Manhay. Waste treatment at the end of transport is not part of the market. The service shall include in particular: 1. all operating, insurance and maintenance costs for the above-mentioned vehicles; 2. the costs of the staff assigned to driving the vehicles; 3. the costs of the staff assigned to the collection; 4. All that is necessary for the operation of the special collections; 5. The treatment of household waste is a communal responsibility.
