Voluntary ex ante prior transparency notice for the provision of the technical assistance and full risk maintenance service for the Pinnacle radiotherapy treatment plan processing system, branded Philips Medical Systems, owned by the Azienda Policlinico Umberto I of Rome consisting of a server (SIC 51578 – 51579 – 51580 – 51581) on which software is installed that allows the planning and contouring of the treatments to be performed on the accelerators supplied with the radiotherapy of this hospital and by networked hardware workstations (SIC 51856). The service must ensure the conditions of perfect operation of the system in compliance with the current rules on Medical Devices. In particular, the maintenance of the Certification of Conformity to the MDD 93/42 and subsequent amendments must be guaranteed, as established by the manufacturer, through Full Risk maintenance that includes a minimum of 1 annual scheduled preventive maintenance visit; unlimited number of technical interventions (remotely and/or on site); supply, installation and configuration of all software compatible with the hardware in possession, made available for the removal of programming errors, implementation of user suggestions for adaptation and/or expansion of software features within the specifications of the installed version, or for adaptation to new operating systems and/or new versions of operating systems; supply of installation and configuration of all software for the improvement version made available and compatible with the hardware in possession, such as those for virtual simulation, for the design of 3D-CRT treatments with photons and electrons, for co-registration with advanced imaging tools, for the automatic contouring of structures based on a library of anatomical models, for the creation of IMRT plans using Direct Machine Parameter Optimization, for the optimization and evaluation of IMRT plans according to radiobiological parameters, for automatic contouring, for the automation of the replanning procedure in accordance with the latest image set available; proactive maintenance of the Server and Clients; on-site training of staff on the use of software; supply and installation of all necessary spare parts.
