Energieverbund Maienfeld AG, Expansion of the heating network, Lots 5 and 6, Törliweg – Schloss Maienfeld - Winkelgasse
Energieverbund Maienfeld AG is in the phased expansion phase of its heating network in the city of Maienfeld. In spring/summer 2025, the cables will be built from the Aeuli/Törliweg intersection via the forecourt from Schloss Maienfeld to Winkelgasse. Until the start of the project Aeuli/Törliweg (Höhe Graubündner Kantonalbank), the lines were already created or laid in 2023. The heat pipes run along the access road to Maienfeld Castle, via the forecourt from Maienfeld Castle to Winkelgass (intersection Winkelagsse/Hinterwinkel). The route takes place both on public roads and on private plots. The construction phase is located in a legally valid archaeology zone (covers the entire old town area). Archaeological findings are to be expected at least in the immediate castle area. These are examined and documented by the Graubünden Archaeological Service - in the usual framework - during excavation. For this construction phase, therefore, more time must be included in the schedule. The overall tendered works include the construction and covering works for the construction of the cable trenches for the heat pipes as well as for the cable protection pipes, the construction of the road superstructure as well as the execution of the covering work and work for the edge closures on the section Aeuli/Törliweg - Vorplatz Schloss Maienfeld - Winkelgasse.
