Description

The subject of the contract is the supply and purchase of electricity in accordance with the applicable regulations, quality standards of the EP Act and implementing regulations, in particular the Regulation of the Minister of Climate and the Environment of 22 March 2023 on detailed conditions for the operation of the electricity system for subjective collection points participating in the procedure, a list of which is included in the Specifications of the Terms and Conditions of the Contract. N.B.: Pursuant to Resolution No XXV/373/20 of the Sejmik of the Malopolska Region of 28 September 2020 on the Air Quality Plan for the Malopolska Region, the Contracting Authority is obliged to ensure that from 1 January 2025, 100% of the electricity consumed during the year by its public buildings will come from renewable sources, in particular by purchasing energy certified by a guarantee of origin of electricity from renewable sources. Therefore, the Contracting Authority requires that 100 % of the electricity supplied to EPP under Lots 2 and 3 of the contract is from renewable sources. The contractor awarded the contract in this part will be obliged to provide a guarantee of origin of electricity produced from renewable energy sources in installations of renewable energy source, referred to in Chapter 5 of the Act of 20 February 2015 on renewable energy sources, from which it will result that 100% of the contracted energy comes from renewable energy sources. The Contractor shall be obliged to provide the Ordering Party with a guarantee for each calendar year of order performance, within 30 days after the end of the given year. The obligation to lodge a guarantee applies to each calendar year separately. In the case of an increase in the amount of electricity supplied, the required level of energy from renewable sources will relate to the volume of energy supplied under the concluded contract, taking into account the quantitative changes made.
