The Lapland Welfare Region has put out to tender a contract for car leasing services 2024-2026 (2028). On the basis of the framework agreement, 12 car-specific rental agreements have been concluded during the first quarter of 2025. The minimum regional share of the environmental and energy efficiency requirements referred to in section 9(2) of the Act on the Procurement of Vehicles and Transport Services for environmentally friendly and energy-efficient passenger cars and light commercial vehicles referred to in section 6 of the Act is 20% in the Lapland Welfare Region. Of the cars ordered during the first quarter of 2025 listed in this contract award notice, 2/12 (16.66%) are clean vehicles as defined by law. The activities of the Lapland Welfare Area started in 2023. 18/104 (16.9%) of the cars purchased during the operation of the Lapland wellbeing services county are clean vehicles as defined by law.
