The economic and development company Stormarn mbH (WAS) has been dedicated to the development of commercial space in the district of Stormarn for almost 70 years and thus significantly supports economic growth in the district. Together with the three shareholders (Stormarn district, Sparkasse Holstein and IB-SH), the orientation towards a broader economic development was initiated a few years ago and in this context the construction and above all the operation of a previously non-existent start-up and innovation centre in Stormarn was envisaged.
