Description

The subject-matter of the contract is the provision of services, hereinafter referred to as maintenance work, relating to the maintenance of natural watercourses and canals and the regulatory structures and water facilities on them, which constitute basic water drainage facilities, in order to ensure:
— protection against flooding,
— ice run-off and prevention of adverse ice events,
— water use conditions, including the maintenance of the water table at a level that permits the operation of water facilities,
— the operation of water facilities, in particular their proper technical and functional condition.
The contract also covers the performance of natural supervision, which the contractor will ensure throughout the duration of the works, on all the sites covered by the contract.
The detailed description and scope of the work are set out in the annexes to the ToR.
