Description

The contract concerns accommodation, partial meals and the provision of leisure activities to all participants, trainers and judges in connection with the implementation of EuroSkills 2025, which will take place at MCH Messecenter Herning from 9. - 13 September 2025. Denmark will host the official European Youth Skill Championship in 2025 (EuroSkills 2025). EuroSkills 2025 I/S is responsible for implementing EuroSkills 2025 in the period 9 September to 13 September 2025 inclusive, with Herning as the host city. This Order concerns EuroSkills 2025 I/S' agreement with Lalandia Billund A/S on accommodation, partial meals and leisure activities for participants, team leaders and judges (a total of approximately 1800 guests) at the resort Lalandia Billund in connection with the implementation of EuroSkills 2025. Accommodation and thus renting of houses must be possible in the period 6 to 14 September 2025. Lalandia Billund A/S is the only operator capable of meeting EuroSkills 2025 I/S’ needs in relation to the establishment of a “Skills-Village” at EuroSkills 2025, and Lalandia Billund A/S is thus also the only operator capable of providing the services requested. With its portfolio in Billund, Lalandia Billund A/S is the only player that can meet EuroSkills 2025 I/S' requirements for the number of houses (need for approximately 700), including as boys and girls cannot sleep together, requirements for separate sleeping accommodation for each guest, requirements in relation to surrounding infrastructure (distance to event venue in Herning, airport, bus stops), requirements for capacity to feed participants, managers and judges, and the provision of activities that can activate participants, managers and judges outside their competition hours.
