Description

The ARISE Plus Cambodia project aims to support greater connectivity and economic integration between Cambodia and the rest of ASEAN through implementing the AEC Blueprint 2025 and strengthening institutional capacity. It will consolidate and enhance the results achieved with past and ongoing EU trade-related technical assistance. The project has 3 components:
1) Trade facilitation and standards;
2) Institutional and human capacities development for the formulation and implementation of trade-related policies;
3) Enhancement of private sector engagement, notably SMEs and better preparedness for AEC's seamless, single economic space. ARISE Plus Cambodia is co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) with a duration from January 2019 through June 2023. This tender regards implementation of component 3, as components 1 and 2 are implemented directly by GIZ.
