Description

The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) needs new accommodation in Berlin. The House of Europe currently used by the BMZ has to be emptied due to a necessary core renovation. At the same time, the business operations of the BMZ in Berlin, which are currently spread over three properties, are to be merged into one property. For this purpose, a new building with approx. 38,840 sqm GFA for 762 workplaces is planned on the neighbouring plot of the Europahaus in Anhalter Straße (with a plot size of approx. construction phase). It is expected that a pro rata area of approximately 6,400 sqm GFA will be made available to other federal ministries (so-called BImA-N.N. areas).
