Description

For the equipment of the cleanroom of the Institute of Quantum Technologies, a specific machinery for the production, processing and integration of micro and nanosystems and related quantum technologies is procured. As part of this call for tenders, a system for the construction of miniaturized quantum optical systems will be procured. The plant is used for the additive manufacturing of micro- and nanostructures as well as microoptics by means of two-photon polymerization. Due to the nonlinear absorption of a focused femtosecond laser, a photosensitive material is cured locally, resulting in high-resolution 3D structures as well as micro-optical components. The systems serve a wide range of applications for the production of microstructures, surface finishing, fiber integration of photonic integrated components, production of photonic and microphotonic components such as gratings, creation of microlenses and arrays, production of lensed fiber components.
