Description

I. Subject of the contract: The subject of the contract is the supply of oncological medicines for the Zofia Provincial Hospital of Zamoyskie Tarnowska in Tarnobrzeg, included in 10 packages. II. Description of the subject of the contract: 1. CPV code according to the Common Procurement Vocabulary: 33652100-6 Anticancer agents 2. A detailed description of the subject-matter of the contract is contained in Annex 2 to the FTZ – Price form. 3. The trade names given in the price form are examples. The contracting authority allows for the possibility of submitting equivalent tenders, i.e. equivalent pharmaceutical and therapeutic tenders. Basic concepts and definitions on bioequivalence issues of medicines; modified according to Kalishan and Janicki. Pharmaceutical equivalence defines a situation in which the medicines compared contain the same amount of a medicinal product in the same (or substantially similar - e.g. tablets, capsules) form of the drug, corresponding to the same comparable standards and intended to be administered by the same route; pharmaceutical equivalence does not determine therapeutic equivalence, since differences in the range of complementary substances and the manufacturing process may cause differences in dissolution and bioavailability and, consequently, in the action of the pharmaceutical product. Therapeutic equivalence Two agents are therapeutically equivalent if they are pharmaceutically equivalent and if, when administered at the same dose, their effects on both efficacy and safety are as could be expected from the relevant studies. 4. The rules for carrying out the supply in question are set out in the ‘Draft Contract’, which is attached as Annex 8 to the FTZ.
