United Kingdom-Greater London: Police patrol boats
On behalf of the contracting authority, Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is seeking through this tender opportunity to invite potential suppliers to directly manufacture, supply and deliver the required marine vessels in accordance with MPS specifications. The supplier will be responsible for managing and controlling the complete supply chain from vessel manufacture through to the supply, delivery and services, including after sales support and maintenance. The MPS vessel requirements are categorised into three lot types:
Lot 1: Command and Control;
Lot 2: Fast Patrol and
Lot 3: Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB’s).
The combined value of the procurement opportunity is estimated up to GBP 7.6 million (for all three lots). The MPS will reserve the right to modify any publishable procurement document (through this process SSQ and ITT) where it is required to do so. Potential suppliers will be notified of such changes.
