Background
In March 2015 Prof. Claes de Vreese (Amsterdam School of Communication Research) received a Consolidator Grant from the European Research Council (ERC). Consolidator Grants provide funding for research projects that enable a researcher to develop as an independent research leader. Established by the European Union (EU) in 2007, the ERC focuses on financing ground-breaking research. Prof. De Vreese received the grant for his project entitled ‘Europinions: Causes and Consequences of Change in Public Opinion about Europe’.
Aim
