Description

The tendering company intends to digitise and optimise its ‘maintenance process’ at your subsidiary of moBiel GmbH. In a preliminary project, a detailed target concept for optimizing and digitizing moBiel's maintenance processes in the area of vehicles, railways and infrastructure was developed. The preliminary project was initiated because the existing IT systems (in the core SAP R/3) do not support the processes optimally enough. Based on a cost/benefit analysis in the form of business cases for various IT and process scenarios for the IT mapping of the target concept, it was evaluated that: 1. the introduction of an industry software for the digitization of maintenance is economical and necessary 2. the tendering of the industry software should be software-neutral The aim of the implementation of the advertised service is the introduction of a new system, which is provided by a partner (AN). In addition, the best possible industry software will be found taking into account weighted technical, IT and economic criteria and the introduction of these will be assigned to the corresponding IT service provider. The software is to be provided on-premise. All necessary data is to be migrated from the old system to the new system, which is necessary for legally compliant, continuous and problem-free operation. Furthermore, a high degree of automation is to be achieved in the processes to be depicted in the future and media breaks are to be avoided. At the same time, the degree of flexibility that is required as a modern company with constantly new and innovative products is to be increased. The overall objectives of this project are as follows: - Increasing the quality of processes through the use of future-proof software. - Reduce costs and increase efficiency by using highly standardized templates for standard processes. - Participation of innovations and suggestions for the further development of the software within the framework of a competent network. - Partnership with a service provider on an equal footing.
