4-year framework contract for the supply, installation, conversion and maintenance of access control, intrusion protection and camera surveillance systems and associated data-related services. Through this framework agreement, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel wishes to keep its current systems operational and possibly to expand them in function of renovation, new construction, legal, operational or safety requirements. Place of delivery: Various campuses of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel The assignment is divided into the following plots: Lot 1 ‘Access control’ This lot concerns the continuation of the existing operational access control systems Salto, I-Protect and Simons-Voss on the campuses of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. With a view to establishing a uniform access system whereby the employee can easily and transparently gain access to the patrimony. Lot 2 ‘Intrusion protection’ This lot concerns the installation and management of Vanderbilt type intrusion systems to detect suspicious movements or activities in various rooms. These rooms are equipped with contact sensors and motion detectors and will only be accessible (outside operating hours) to authorised persons via a personal code. Lot 3 “Camera surveillance” This lot concerns the installation and management of surveillance cameras and the necessary hardware and management software. Support surveillance services and integration with other security systems (including burglary) is paramount here. Lot 4 "Bags" Maintenance, renewal and installation of vehicle access control systems by placing barriers on the access roads and integration with access control and parking management on the different campuses.
