UK-Nottingham: Infusion pumps
The Trust requires Epidural analgesia pumps for use in the Children's Hospital at QMC Campus and in Maternity, General and Major Trauma Surgical Wards (for Acute Pain) on both QMC and City Campuses. The requirement totals approximately 100 pumps which equates to an initial quantity of 30 for immediate installation to the Maternity Department and a subsequent roll-out to other areas in-line with the Trust's equipment replacement program. The successful supplier will need to demonstrate that their proposed pumps will be compliant with the NPSA alert on spinal and epidural anaesthesia administration, including the requirement for a non-luer compatible connector and that it is easily distinguishable from pumps that are intended for other routes of administration (NPSA Patient Safety Alert 16).
