Description

The contractor will carry out the activities of a construction manager in the implementation of a new building for the purpose of using the health service ‘Therapy for Visual Impairments in Dvůr Králové nad Labem’. The building will include 2 classrooms for kindergartens and two classrooms for elementary schools with related orthopaedic training rooms including facilities, accommodation for children's clients and their escorts, a doctor's examination room, technical facilities including a kitchen with dining room and laundry. The expected number of children's clients will be 40, adult escorts 20, employees 25. A more detailed specification of the construction is given in Annex 8 to the tender specifications. The activities of the construction manager are fully defined in Annex 8 to the tender specifications – contractual terms and conditions. Part of the activities of the construction manager is also cooperation in the preparation and administration of the procurement procedure for a public contract, the subject of which will be the realization of the construction. This procurement procedure will be carried out in the form of a negotiated procedure with publication within the meaning of Section 60 et seq. SCA with elements of closer design competition. Part of the activities of the construction manager is also the preparation of the payment schedule of the realized construction. The estimated value of the design and construction works (‘the work’) is CZK 125 000 000 excluding VAT. The services of the construction manager will mainly consist in providing expert support to the Client and the Contractor of the work aimed at ensuring the highest possible quality in the execution of the subject of the work.
