AS Anne Soojus plaanib moderniseerida Tartu keskkütte süsteemi ja tootmise võimsusi ehitades uue maagaasil töötava umbes 110MW (3x37MW veetorukateldega) Ropka tipukatlamaja. Uus tipukatlamaja asendab kahe olemasoleva katlamaja võimsuse ja toodab sooja tippkoormuste ajal. Tagavarakütusena kasutatakse kerget kütteõli.
