51-818/15 Fit for the profession (FIB) Preparation of particularly disadvantaged young people (training beudget of the Land of Hessen) of 19.8.2015-18.08.2016 (max. 18.8.2019)
Objective:
Targeted and specific support and assistance for disadvantaged young people in the transition from school to work preparation. Intensive practical, professional orientation and practical experience, educational and linguistic support and socio-educational support are intended to enable disadvantaged young people to acquire training skills and maturity. The aim of the action is to help bring young people who have not been reached with the existing instruments to the right opportunities to achieve the above-mentioned objectives. This is done in close cooperation with the existing Wiesbaden transitional structures, in particular the School Social Work Wiesbaden (Office for Social Work) and the Kerschensteinerschule Wiesbaden.
1. Young people should be empowered to enter education or work after completing the action.
2. The aim is to prevent employment or lack of training and, by acquiring professional skills, the chances of being placed in the first Increase the labour market and/or training market.
3. Young people who have become a realistic goal to obtain a secondary school degree should be prepared in groups for the primary school examination. The project promoter shall establish its suitability in consultation with the school.
Target group:
Young people who need intensive individual and practical care.
The target affected is:
— Leavers from general and special-needs schools without a successful transition towards pre-vocational training (BZB)
— Disadvantaged young people from a migrant background with a particularly high need for educational and professional language support.
— Disadvantaged, school fatigue and denial young people who are subject to the extended compulsory schooling period and who would fail predictably if they were to take part in the BZB.
Scope of the service:
30 places are foreseen for the action. Approximately 5 places will be reserved in particular for the target group of disadvantaged young people with a migrant background and a particularly high need for educational and professional language support.
Duration of the service:
The duration of the action is 12 months. It starts on 19.8.2015 and ends on 18.8.2016. There are three options to renew the contract for a further year each (i.e. a maximum of 3 additional years), which are available only to the contracting authority (maximum duration of the contract: until 18.8.2019).
Place:
The place where the services are provided is the urban area of the state capital Wiesbaden. The site must have appropriate infrastructure and be easily accessible by public transport (public transport) within a reasonable time.
