Description

contracting authority agreement for the construction of the tramway (T2) of Nîmes Métropole, which falls under Title I of Law No 85-704 of 12 July 1985, as amended. The tasks entrusted to the trustee form part of the contracting authority’s responsibilities.
Nîmes Métropole’s tram line (T2) project consists of the construction of an Iron-type tramway infrastructure with a length of approximately 12 km which will serve the most important route of transport in the agglomeration by connecting the SMAC sector to the east to the TER station at Saint-Césaire-Porte Ouest (displaced) at an investment cost estimated at EUR 255 m net at the current stage of the studies. The decision of the Community Council of 9 July 2012 laid down the principle of a phase in two sections: first section SMAC-CHU, for an envelope of EUR 200 m excl. tax and the second section CHU – Saint-Césaire, for an envelope of EUR 55 m (excl. tax).
This consultation concerns the conclusion of a mandate agreement covering the entire operation of the Nîmes Métropole tram line (T2) until the DUP is obtained, and the first section for the operational phase (works).
