Description

The city of Coesfeld intends to comprehensively rehabilitate and expand the Maria-Frieden primary school, which was built in the 1970s, on the approximately 11,500 m2 plot of land. The existing building with approx. 2740m2 GFA will have a wooden frame facade incl. concrete base and will be extended by a south-facing and directly adjacent extension in solid construction and wooden frame facade incl. concrete base on two floors with approx. 1520m2 GFA area. The OGS is located in a smaller single-storey extension with about 215m2 GFA on the east side of the property directly behind the sports hall, also with a wooden frame facade and concrete base. The sports hall with a total of about 525m2 GFA will be refurbished externally as part of the facade renovation, such as the school with a wooden frame facade and concrete base. The outdoor facilities are being fundamentally redesigned.
