07- Drywall construction
07- Drywall Two MUR buildings (mobile teaching units) of the school site of the integrated secondary school Konrad-Wachsmann-Schule, Roßweiner Ring 11 and 13 in Berlin-Hellersdorf are to be renovated and adapted and modernized for today's school operation. The roof surfaces are refurbished and energetically upgraded. An extensive green roof with PV modules is also used as roof covering. The future drainage of the roof surfaces takes place on the outside of the facade. The facade receives a thermal insulation composite system according to the energy requirements in a thickness of 14 cm with mineral insulation as well as suitable plaster structure and painting. The existing external escape stairs made of steel are dismantled, disposed of and replaced by new steel stairs as escape stairs with correspondingly new foundations in front of the renovated facades. The exterior doors are renewed in metal construction and the windows in wood with exterior shading systems. The planned interior renovation includes the renewal of the entire building technology, i.e. the heating technology and all electrical systems, where necessary also the ventilation systems are renewed. In all classrooms and adjoining rooms as well as all corridors, old floor coverings are removed and renewed. In addition, the existing suspended ceiling structures will be replaced by new ceilings with corresponding sound insulation requirements. Existing drywalls must be completely removed and rebuilt due to the KMF-loaded insulation. The existing massive reinforced concrete walls are largely preserved; in house 11 non-load-bearing reinforced concrete walls are demolished on the 2nd floor in order to create two larger classrooms. All toilet rooms are gutted and thoroughly refurbished, in these areas the screed is also completely demolished and renewed. In the outdoor areas, new escape and access routes as well as parking spaces and parking spaces for bicycles are newly paved or manufactured.
