Description

Le Syndicat Mixte Entre Pic et Etang (SMEPE) exerce la compétence traitement des déchets pour les 6 groupements de communes adhérents : - Agglomération du Pays de l'Or ; - Communauté de Communes du Grand Pic St Loup ; - Lunel Agglomération ; - Communauté de Communes Rhony, Vistre, Vidourle ; - Communauté de Communes du Pays de Sommières ; - Communauté de Communes Terre de Camargue. Son territoire regroupe 89 communes représentant environ 223 000 habitants sédentaires du secteur Sud-Est de l'Hérault et du secteur Sud-Ouest du Gard. Les déchets collectés par les divers groupements rejoignent les installations de traitement en contrat de prestations de service avec le Syndicat. Ainsi, les déchets végétaux sont collectés par l'intermédiaire du réseau de 27 déchèteries et points de collecte. Le présent contrat concerne uniquement le traitement des déchets végétaux issus de l'Agglomération du Pays de L'or.
