GMH Gebäudemanagement Hamburg GmbH is a municipal company that provides construction, operation and management services for more than 50 general education schools in the south of Hamburg (Wilhelmsburg and Harburg) as well as for university and municipal buildings. ---------------- The Bürgerhaus Harburg was opened in 1984 in the centre of Harburg's city centre. As an event venue, the property has, among other things, an event hall, 6 group rooms and a restaurant with outdoor space in the backyard. After almost 40 years of cultural activity, the building no longer meets the modern requirements in terms of technology and event guidelines. After the renovation of the façade elements has already been completed, the interior and the building technology are now being renovated. The building has been a listed building since August 2021 (see entry in the list of monuments and mapping of 2 August 2021).
