Description

The train control system ETCS is used on the network of the SBB infrastructure. Eurobalises are an essential part of the route equipment. The aim of this call for tenders is to select a strategic contractor (single source) to ensure the long-term availability of the Eurobalisen as well as technical support over the entire product life cycle for ETCS Levels 1 and 2. The contract includes a framework contract for the supply of hardware as well as a service and support contract. Hardware Supply of Eurobalises for ETCS Levels 1 and 2 including fastening material, track connections, Balisende activation devices as well as programming and testing equipment. The framework contract is concluded for a fixed period of ten years and can then be extended three times by the client for five years each (maximum total term 25 years). Engineering and services Provision of the necessary programming and testing applications as well as execution of programming and testing services before commissioning and on site. Service and Support Conclusion of a service and support contract for the entire product lifecycle including software maintenance, software updates, obsolescence management and guaranteed response and repair times.
