Description

BWI GmbH (hereinafter: "BWI") is considering a framework contract for the procurement of Meinberg time servers, product-related services and the provision of software maintenance and support services to one or two economic operators by means of an open procedure pursuant to Section 14(2) VgV. The framework contract will be concluded with a maximum duration of 4 years (2 years basic duration, with a 2 year extension option). The framework contract for lot 1 intends to acquire the contractor Meinberg time server products (hardware) including the permanent provision of the firmware installed on them and to commission the contractor with the provision of related, included maintenance and support services on the basis of individual orders in accordance with this framework contract. The specific supplies and services to be provided by the contractor (hereinafter referred to as "contractual services") result from Clause 1 of the framework contract. Hardware and software-related contractual services as well as extended support services in connection with the use of Meinberg Server hardware (including firmware installed on it) are dealt with in a separate Lot 2 with a separate framework contract. The contractual services are generally used in the service and operational operation of the end customer as well as in the own operation of the customer.
