Description

Contract awarded in accordance with the adapted procedure pursuant to Article 28-I of the Public Procurement Code. The contract is divided into 8 lots:
lot 1: Site installations/demolitions – curing/carcass work/repellent/covering – waterproofing/tiling – earthenware/paint – protection of existing structures – cleaning/partitions – overlay/false ceilings/flexible floors (PVC and textile),
lot 2: Metal frame (graduation structure + pre-stage structure)/locks/exterior joinery,
lot 3: Interior woodwork/parquet stage/signage,

this consultation concerns work to improve the reception of the public in the scene-room space at the Romain Rolland theatre in Villejuif. The theatre is a building inaugurated in 1964. Despite some conversion works since its opening, the building no longer meets current standards and poses operational problems. It offers all types of live performances as well as cinematographic screenings. It hosts theatre programming at regional and national level.
The special feature of the building is that it consists of two superimposed public establishments: the Jacques Lecoq theatre room belongs to a whole comprising a covered market located on rue Eugène Varlin and above the room itself. The 2 institutions are separated and managed by two different managers. The main external access to the room is via a large lateral staircase, giving over a parvis which is also used for the contract.
The building studied is considered to be a th category (ERP) of category 2 (701/1500 persons), type L (hearing, conference, meeting, entertainment or multi-purpose rooms) with annexes to offices and technical rooms not open to the public.
