Description

In the 2016 Economic Agreements, KL, Danske Regioner and the Government agreed to extend telemedical home training to citizens with COPD nationally in 2019. The economic agreements are the first step in supporting citizens in their own homes. In the longer term, telemedicine is expected to be used in a wide range of areas of disease and intervention, such as heart failure, diabetes, telepsychiatry, wounds, rehabilitation, etc. In connection with the implementation of telemedical home training for citizens with COPD in the capital, 29 municipalities and Region Hovedstaden agree to establish a three-year cooperation on services, support and logistics to support telemedicine services, with the aim of jointly fulfilling the obligations of the parties to the agreement in this regard (the Cooperation Agreement). The cooperation is organised as a transversal cooperation based on Section 78 (3) and (7) of the Health Act.
