Description

Green traffic management requires, in addition to the implementation of traffic management and traffic information measures at field level, the development of new or extension of existing system components of traffic management at central level for the purposes of:
— Monitoring and analysis of meteorology, environment and traffic data;
— Strategy management for continuous environmentally sensitive traffic management,
— continuous impact assessment of the measures implemented.
The environmental traffic management area formally covers the entire territory of the city of Jena. Traffic management measures focus primarily on the main road network. Meteorology, environmental and traffic data in the vicinity of the city of Jena should also be included to the extent that they have an impact on traffic and environmental situations in the urban area.
