Description

The city of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler intends to restore the spa park destroyed in the course of the flood disaster of July 2021 and has commissioned its subsidiary, Marketing GmbH, to manage the restoration. The spa park of Bad Neuenahr houses the healing spring "Großer Sprudel", whose well technology and facilities were destroyed in the flood disaster in July 2021. Originally, the fountain technology was housed in a separate building on the grounds of the thermal bath house opposite the spa park. Due to the flood, this building was destroyed and there is now a need to rebuild the well technology. Due to the functional affiliation of the water supply to the spring in the spa park, there is a need to rebuild the well technology in the immediate vicinity of the spring. The company Hölscher Wasserbau installed a temporary mobile de-ironization plant, which removes the brown iron hydroxide and CO2 from the water. The water purified in this way is currently being discharged into the Ahr. For the further use of the well water, a stationary plant is to be planned and built again, which is to be located in the basement of the building Kurparkterrasse. For this purpose, the client has had a preliminary planning prepared, which has to be implemented in terms of planning and construction. The preliminary planning and all related documents are available for download. The contracting authority has had a comprehensive system and procedure description drawn up for the planning services, which is part of the procurement documents and must therefore be taken into account. With regard to the details, reference is made to this plant and process description, which is available for download. In addition, the client has created a comprehensive service description for the overall measure, which is also available for download. In particular, reference is made to the comments under point 3.8.
