The subject of the competition is the urban-architectono-country solution for the revitalisation of the pedestrian zone in Trenčín: Hviezdoslavova – Jasel – Vajanski Sládkovičov.
The estimated cost of implementing the project (works) excluding civil engineering networks and integrated modular public lighting is EUR 2312000,00, exclusive of VAT.
Since the notifier does not know, at the time of the launch of the design contest, whether the administrators of the various civil engineering networks themselves will carry out the implementation of the civil engineering networks, including project documentation, they are not included in the estimated project implementation costs and the design documents of the individual civil engineering networks, including integrated modular public lighting, are not subject to this competition.
The estimated value of the object of the contest (i.e. the sum of the design contest prizes and the price of the project documentation to be awarded on the basis of the results of this design contest) is EUR 182000,00, excluding VAT, of which the maximum value of the services awarded in the direct negotiated procedure following this design contest is EUR 142000,00, exclusive of VAT, and the sum of the prizes in this design contest is not more than EUR 40 000.
In the event that the offer price of a participant for the preparation of the project documentation, including VAT, is higher than the estimated value of the contract determined by the declarant with VAT, the tenderer may consider such a tender unacceptable and shall have the right not to accept it.
According to the subject-matter of the solution, the competition is announced as an urban-architectonickno-country competition (combined design contest pursuant to Section 1(1)(g) of Public Procurement Office Decree No 157/2016 on design contests).
According to the purpose, the competition is declared to be project-based.
According to the group of participants, the competition is launched as open, for an undetermined number of anonymous participants in the first round. The declarant informs that the design contest is followed by a procedure for the award of a service contract pursuant to Sections 81(h) and 82 of Act No 343/2015 on public procurement and amending certain acts.
On the basis of the results of the contest, a contract will be awarded in a direct negotiated procedure for the supply of the following services:
— completion of the tender design into the form of a study
— completion of the tender in the form of documentation for territorial proceedings
— completion of the tender in the form of the documentation for the construction procedure
— completion of the tender in the form of documentation for the execution of the construction works
— the exercise of copyright supervision.
The design documentation will be divided into three stages in the sense of the Competition Facility 2a.
The Contesting Participant grants the Consignee’s consent to use the proposal (hereinafter referred to as Licence) in accordance with the draft Licensing Agreement. The participant undertakes to settle all legal relationships with third parties involved in the processing of the proposal in such a way that the third party cannot pursue any claims against the declarant. In the event of a claim for copyright infringement by a third party against the publisher, the party undertakes to compensate the declarant for the damage suffered as a result of the third party’s claim in full.
