Description

The client carries out the conversion of the formerly used military property "US-Housing" in Bitburg. For this purpose, a feasibility study has already been prepared, which provides for a versatile mix of uses for the development of the area. These considerations were further developed for an application to the Landesgartenschau and are now being implemented by the Zweckverband itself. The client does not have the organizational and human resources to carry out the development and marketing. Therefore, further parties from the relevant private sector are to be found by means of this procurement procedure in order to establish one or more mixed-sector (PPP) companies in the legal form of GmbH (as a company and/or holding company) and/or GmbH & Co. KG (as a holding company). The number and legal form of the project companies were determined in the further procedure. If an implementation with two project companies should take place, the participation identity will be given in this respect. The purpose and object of the project company(s) is the development and marketing of the conversion areas on the site of the former housing estate "US-Housing" in Bitburg. This may also include the letting of apartments held in one's own holdings at socially responsible conditions. Further information can be found in the procurement documents.
