Creation of a software solution by project: “Digital Cultural Heritage of Plovdiv Municipality”, Measure 2 “Documentation of Cultural History” of Programme BG08 “Cultural Heritage and Modern Arts”, funded by the EEA FM 2009-2014.
The subject matter of this procurement covers 1 of the project activities, which relates to the development of a software solution for creating virtual collections of available digital content and presenting them on the internet. The creation of detailed metadata archives for already digitised cultural and historical sites is key to the project, as only after the build-up of 1 solid metadata landscape and the creation of opportunities for their electronic processing will it be possible to improve and democratise access to information concerning Plovdiv’s cultural heritage.
