The municipality of Haarlemmermeer offers all schools in the municipality the opportunity to participate in swimming in a school setting. The municipality offers the primary schools that participate free of charge transport between school and swimming pool. It has been agreed with the schools that the municipality will finance the school swimming transport and that the schools, swimming pools and transporter are responsible for the implementation. In the current transport plan (see Annex E1 price sheet ‘Table 3 overview transport plan’), transport takes place weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
